Sean Gilmore

Sean Gilmore joined the SMART lab in 2016, and he is  completing his MA in psychology.  Sean attended Western University where he received a BA with honours in psychology and completed a thesis investigating the neural networks related to beat perception. His current research interests are still related to beat perception, but in the SMART lab Sean is exploring the neural entrainment properties of vibrotactile stimulation. Outside of the lab Sean enjoys writing and performing music, and if you pry hard enough, you might be able to catch him freestyling or scratching a record at local venues.
