Amanda Donato

Amanda Donato is an undergraduate student pursuing a B.A in Psychology at Ryerson University. Her interest in music cognition has stemmed from her life-long journey as a dancer and performer. She is especially interested in the creation of movement as the direct outcome of listening to a piece of music. She has always been curious to explore the differences between trained dancers and non-dancers in their perception and understanding of rhythm and emotion. Amanda looks forward to learning and gaining experience in the SMART Lab, and is happy to be part of the team.
